You don't want to miss the *2010 Early-Bird Reception*! Movie & TV Stars in Person!(Come meet some of your favorite Stage, Screen and Television actresses and/or actors.) Autographs and Photos with the Stars(Many festival fans will use the memorable Roy Rogers Festival program and collect all of the Guest Stars, Special Guests and Entertainers' autographs. Then they'll have someone take pictures of them and their favorite guest stars. It is a special souvenir program from the *2010 Roy Rogers Festival*.) Western Movies On the Big Screen(Watch Roy & Trigger, Dale, Gabby, Pat Brady, the Sons of the Pioneers; plus some of your favorite B- Western Stars on the big screen in the mornings and afternoons.) A Roy Rogers Double-Feature Event(The Roy Rogers Festival and the Portsmouth 8 Cinema have again announced a special *Roy Rogers Double- Feature Movie Extravaganza*. It's open to all Roy Rogers fans during the 2010 festival, Thursday, June 3, 2009. Local super-talents will include our own "Col. Bill Sanders". "Jon Patterson", Dodie Rogers-Patterson's husband and Roy and Dale's son-in-law, will astound us again with his fabulous musicial talents and wonderful voice, during the festival. Other musical guests have not been confirmed at this time. Please watch this page on a regular basis as we comfirm other musical guests and entertainers. Hospitality Center with Great Food(Great food will be in abundance all four evenings in the Hospitality Center. Many volunteers from the Roy Rogers- Dale Evans Collectors Association and thier friends provide the delicious food & desserts.) Roy Rogers Stamp Ceremony April 17, 2010, will be the date the series "The Cowboys of the Silver Screen" will go on sale. There will be an official representative from the USPS to help us celebrate Roy's commemerative stamp, included in the series.) Luncheon with the StarsFriday, June 4, 2010 - Time: 1:00pm (Western fans join our Guest Stars and Special Guests for a leisurely and scrumptious luncheon together. After a fine meal, many questions will be asked of our Guest Stars & Special Guests. We will share some memorable and lasting moments with some of the best people ever!) Costume ContestSaturday, June 5, 2010 - 1:00pm (Western fans come dressed in costume as their favorite western character out of the 'Old West' or a live or fictional character out of 'American History'. Prizes will be given to the best character in the two catagories. A special panel of judges will be selected for the contest. Grand Banquet with the StarsScioto Room - June 5, 2010 - Time: 7:00pm (The banquet will have fans dressed in their best western duds. They'll shared in an elegant meal with the Guest Stars and Special Guests. All will enjoy the companionship of our Roy and Dale Extended Family Members during the 2010 Roy Rogers Festival. You'll have the pleasure of visitin' with alot of wonderful folks for a few days.) served by the fine folks at Damon's Grill, conveniently located in the Ramada Inn. Special Western Music Performance(A Special Western Concert will follow the Grand Banquet. Please check back and see who our special music entertainer will be.) Auction Finale(Right after our Special Music Performance, fans will bid on some nice, quality items. Proceeds from the auction goes toward the Roy Rogers Scholarship Fund.) ************************* | We are seeking corporate sponsors and offering ads in our Roy Rogers Festival Program. It is a quality program; standard magazine size, on slick paper, done in black and white with colored covers. There will be approximately 1500 printed and they will be sold at the festival and mailed to members. ************************
