These fine folks, plus other Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Collectors Association members were there to help everyone register for the festival. For those who registered early, they were there to help find your packets for the Roy Rogers Festival.

If there were any questions about the festival to be answered or you needed help in any way, they were the ones to ask.

Many thanks go out to all of our Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Collectors Association members and the Roy Rogers Festival Committee for making it a fabulous 2007 festival!

Also in this room, there were very nice items offered by our Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Collectors Association for purchase.

Official Officers
Ray with Stars
Our transportation Officer is Ray Eldridge. He drives a special limousine styled vehicle to and from the big city airports so he can pickup and deliver our Guest Stars to the festival each year.

We try and schedule the arrival and departure times of each Guest Star's plane as close as we can so Ray only has to make one or two trips to the airports to pick them up and take them back to the airport for their return fight home.

Ray's a super guy and we sure appreciate him! Ray is pictured here in the center with this year's Guest Stars who flew in. Thanks Ray for your service!
Jim & Mike
The official lawmen, or so-called peacekeepers for the 2007 Roy Rogers Festival was Marshall Jim Grant and his son, Deputy Mike Grant. They made sure everyone conducted themselves properly in a safe, pleasant manner and made sure those aunery ombres stayed out of town. They did have their hands full a few times, but mainly, their role as peace officers were easily maintained.

The Roy Rogers Festival Committee extends their appeciation for your dedicated service and say "Thank You" for a job well done!

Many Roy Rogers & Dale Evans fans came early for a fun-filled evening for the "Early-Bird Reception" on Wednesday evening, May 30th. The Early-Bird Reception featured the widely acclaimed band of musicians, singers, and songwriters, "StoneyBrooke Band", from South Port, OH. Two of their band members were part of the original "Saturday Night Jamboree". Joining them were the multi-talented and award-winning, Donna Cunningham, who's a local gal, living in Lucasville, OH (near Roy's boyhood home) and our own 'festival sweetie', Colonel Bill Sanders. Colonel Bill was a good friend of Roy Rogers for many years. He knew him well and performed for Roy & Dale at their home in Apple Valley, CA many times.

These are just a few of the many dealers who show up annually to display their products and different wares for the Roy Rogers Festival in Portsmouth. There are many wonderful dealers who come faithfully each year. Some have been here ever since we started the festival in 1983.

We greatfully thank each of our dealers for attending each year so faithfully and bringing their products, wares and displays. Without your presence, we acknowledge the annual Roy Rogers Festival here in Portsmouth, would not be the same. Again, many thanks to you all for your loyalty!!
