“Colonel Bill Sanders”

Kentucky Colonel Bill Sanders is a bright star in Southern Ohio. Born in Greenup County, Kentucky, Bill served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He then returned to his Civilian calling as a Country Music Entertainer. Col. Bill has had the pleasured experiences of working on radio, television, and stage as a country singer & performer, actor, and director. He’s a member of the “140 Music Hall” in Wheelerburg, OH and “Southern Ohio Opry”, in Lucasville Ohio where he’s part of an elite group of country entertainers on their “Wall of Fame”.



“Donna Cunningham”

Lead vocalist for the Wednesday night, “Early Bird Reception is none other than the the super talents of Donna Cunningham. She lives in Lucasville, OH, close to where Roy grew up in Duck Run. Donna recently won the coveted NACMAI (North American Country Music Association International) Award* of Second Place in the United States, in the “Female Traditional Country Entertainer” category. Donna also won the *Horizon Award* in “Female Traditional Country Vocalist” for which she is number Three in the Nation.



“StoneyBrooke Band”

StoneyBrooke is a group of musicians, singer/songwriters from South Point, Ohio. Rick Ruggles & Dan Mahoney of the original “Saturday Night Jamboree Band” have teamed up with bassist Tom Dobbins to bring to the public a variety of country, western, folk, and gospel music. The group is committed to keep traditional American music alive and bring this music to the forefront for your listening pleasure. It’s just plain fun and entertaining.

His baritone voice does a mighty fine job of reviving some of your favorite traditional and clasic country songs. Donny Boggs is a wonderful young man with a very special and unique sound that makes his music stand out in a crowd!

“Saturday Night Jamboree”
“Pure Country Band”

On January 1, 2005, the rebirth of the original “Saturday Night Jamboree” (SNJ) became a reality. The original SNJ was a live TV show on WSAZ-TV in the late 1950’s presented a Grand Ole Opry theme and featured local singers and musicians. Since the rebirth of the Jamboree, we have had dozens of local artists from the tri-state area perform on our stage with the “Pure Country Band”. We will strive to keep the Jamboree alive for many years to come and keep it a family show featuring traditional country music. The SNJ is based in Huntington, WV at the Huntington Renaissance Center and is a Scottie King Production.
